While Chris Parnell and SNL newcomer Andy Samberg delivered the goods in the video, credit needs to be paid to the nerds responsible for the making of "Lazy Sunday". Akiva Schaffer directed the video, while Jorma Taccone made the beats. These two guys are new writers at SNL this season. Also, all four of the above mentioned wrote the material for the video. What many might be interested to know is that Andy, Akiva, and Jorma are the three members of the nerdy comedy team The Lonely Island. These guys also had a fake rap album as "Incredibad" and made some great videos including "Stork Patrol" and "Just 2 Guyz" which are very much akin to the newly beloved SNL goody "Lazy Sunday". I don't mind that Chris Parnell is getting up in the action with the Lonely Island crew. Good for him. And contrary to some criticism, this new SNL digital short is definitely not frat boy material. Narnia nerds need to chill out.
What I really want to focus on however, is the Bing Bong Brothers. If you're not familiar with the classic Wait (The Whisper Song) by the Ying Yang Twins, then I recommend first trying to watch at least 30 seconds of the video. It's that one with the two guys who comprise the Ying Yang Twins whispering sweet nothings in some hoe's ear such as "Just wait'll you see my dick. Hey Bitch. I'ma beat that pussy up". What a turn on. For those who find that song to be both stupid and disgusting, allow me to introduce a fresh alternative: the new hit song by the Bing Bong Bros.

I know that the Ying Yang Twins think their dicks are impressive, but if given a choice, I would definitely opt for having the Bing Bong Bros whispering in my ear any day over the Ying Yang Twins. If this already has not provided enough incentive, please watch for the sake of seeing what the other two nerds responsible for the making of the SNL Narnia rap look like adorned with skeevy fake moustaches.
